Canadian Security Systems was founded as a family business and continues to operate that way today. While the original owners are now retired from daily operations, the next generation continues to manage and grow the company while maintaining the same focus on customer service and local support.

Our History
Starting as Cardston Security Services in 1990, Ross and Julia Moore built the company around dependable locksmithing, alarm systems, and honest local service. As technology evolved and demand grew across the region, the company expanded and rebranded as Canadian Security Systems in the early 2000s, growing its team, fleet, and service area throughout Southern Alberta.
From our original window stickers and Yellow Pages ads to today’s professionally installed smart security systems, Canadian Security Systems has proudly served Southern Alberta for over 35 years. While security technology has continued to evolve, the company’s focus on reliable customer service, professional installations, and local support has remained the same.
Today, the next generation, led by James Moore, continues carrying those family-business values forward, helping homes and businesses across Southern Alberta stay connected, protected, and supported.
