Z-wave Deadbolt
Read before changing batteries!
Please note that putting your batteries in backwards may damage the device. Remember to note the battery terminals.
You will need an Alan or a Philip’s screwdriver depending on the screws in your device and 4 x AA Batteries
1.
Unscrew the three screws on the two sides and bottom of the device.
2.
Remove the cover.
3.
Remove the battery pack on the inside of the device.
4.
Remove the batteries.
5.
Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting in a battery reversed can damage the device.
6.
Place new batteries in the battery pack (4 x AA).
7.
Place the battery pack back in the device. Make sure the arrows on the top are facing toward the door.
8.
Replace the cover and screw it back in.
