Firefighter (SLX-AD-T3)
Read before changing batteries!
Before changing batteries, please call the monitoring station and ask them to put your system on test. For this, you will need your account information.
Please note that putting your batteries in backwards may damage the device. Remember to note the battery terminals.

You will need a CR123A Battery

1.
The firefighter will be mounted adjacent to your smoke detector. Find the tab at the base of the device.

2.
Press the tab in.

3.
Pull the cover away from the base.

4.
Locate the battery.

5.
Gently remove the battery from its connections.

6.
Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting in a battery reversed can damage the device.

7.
Place a new battery in the device (CR123A).

8.
Ensuring that the hooks go in first, replace the cover on the device.

9.
Press in until you hear a click.
