E-Series Flood/Freeze (TX-E611)
Read before changing batteries!
Before changing batteries, please call the monitoring station and ask them to put your system on test. For this, you will need your account information.
Please note that putting your batteries in backwards may damage the device. Remember to note the battery terminals.

You will need a VERY small Philips screwdriver (shaped like an x) and a CR2450 Battery

1.
The device may or may not have a cover, if there is a cover, unscrew and remove it.

2.
Remove the three rubber tabs on the bottom of the device.

3.
Remove the three rubber tabs on the bottom of the device.

4.
Remove the cover and locate the battery.

5.
Gently remove the battery from its connections. You may use the screwdriver if this is difficult.

6.
Place a new battery in the device (CR2450). Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting in a battery reversed can damage the device.

7.
Replace the cover on the device and line up the screw holes. Press in until you hear a click.

8.
Place the screws in their holes and screw them in

9.
Press the rubber tabs back into the holes.
