
DSC
The DSC Panel may have screws up the side instead of a lock

1.
Unlock the Cover and Open the device (The key is often left on the top of the panel.)

2.
Locate the battery.

3.
Remove the wires from the battery terminals.

4.
Attach the wires to a new battery (12VDC 4Ah or 7Ah SLA Battery) ensuring the red and black wires match up with the terminals of the same colour.

5.
Place the battery back in the case.

6.
Close and lock the cover.
Changing User Codes
Step 1 Your system must be in the Disarmed state to change user codes.
Step 2 Press [*]-[5].
Step 3 Enter a “Master Arm/Disarm Code”.
Step 4 Enter the 2-digit “user number”. You must always enter 2 digits, such as [0] – [3] for user 3, or [1] – [2] for user 12.
Step 5 Enter the new four (4) or six (6) digit “user code”. NOTE: To delete a user code, enter [*]-[*]-[*]-[*] for a 4-digit code, or [*]-[*]-[*]-[*]-[*]-[*] for a 6-digit code.
Step 6 If the code is rejected, the sounder will beep 3 times.
Step 7 If another “user code” needs to be programmed, return to Step 4.
Step 8 Press the [#] key to exit the User Code Programming Mode.
Step 9 Email or Fax your Changes to the Monitoring Center (Changes@CanadianSecuritySystems.ca or 403-758-3956)
