Designline Overhead Door Tilt (TX-8010-01-1)
Read before changing batteries!
Before changing batteries, please call the monitoring station and ask them to put your system on test. For this, you will need your account information.
Please note that putting your batteries in backwards may damage the device. Remember to note the battery terminals.
You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a CR2032 Battery
1.
Remove the cover by pressing the screwdriver into the slot on the bottom of the sensor and twisting it 90 degrees.
2.
Locate the battery.
3.
Gently pry out the battery by placing the screwdriver in the slot between the battery and the metal clip.
4.
Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting Batteries in Backwards can damage the Device.
5.
Place a new battery in the device (CR2032) with the + sign facing out.
6.
Replace the lid on the device, making sure the tamper switch is aligned with the plastic tamper tab. Press in until you hear a click.
